-- We welcome corporate America. In an effort to introduce the shooting community to those businesses that support the Right to Bear Arms, FPSA has a sponsorship program that identifies those businesses that should be supported by the shooting community. We ask that you support these businesses, who support you and the shooting community.

FPSA will be NOT have a March Match.

What does Minor / Major Power Factor mean?  

1) One year membership is only $40.00.

2) It takes only 4 classifiers to receive your first classification.

3) Membership allows you to compete in your division with other shooters of approximately the same skill level.

4) You will receive the Front Sight Magazine. This magazine provides information about IPSC shooting.

5) You can receive FREE training as a range officer. The North Carolina Section of USPSA will pay the expenses of shooters that want to learn the rules of this sport.

6) North Carolina is a member of Area 6. Area 6 covers North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, South Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and  Tennessee.  

7) Area 6 has an Area Championship each year in the month of May.

8) The 2004 Area 6 Championship Match will be April 30 - May 2, 2004 in Charleston, SC.

-- FPSA is a cold range. This means that holstering and unholstering pistols must be done in the "Safe Areas". It also means that firearms are unloaded until shooter is on the firing line and instructed to loading and make ready by a Range Officer (RO).

-- FPSA is a member of the USPSA North Carolina Section.

-- Here is a list of other Sanctioned USPSA North Carolina Clubs.

-- FPSA is operated under the USPSA 14th Edition Rule Book.
USPSA Classification System

-- Competitors can shoot in Open, Limited, Limited-10, Production, or Revolver during the regular monthly match. The regular monthly match is held on the 3rd Saturday of the Month. Check the schedule for the specific days.
